Emergency Management Unit

 

The Emergency Control Unit delivers and provides the UNSW Community with:

  • Preventative measures to enable an efficient and effective response to any incident/emergency and enable a quick recovery to a normal state of balance.
  • Advice and resources to minimize or eliminate emergency risks and/or potential hazards in a proficient manner.
  • Emergency planning and be a leader in the provision of emergency and first aid training.
  • Improving business efficiency whilst strengtening the capability of our own people.

 

These will be achieved through:

  • Training and Education
  • Legislation and Compliance
  • Resources and Tools
  • Business Continuity and Planning
  • Emergency Risk Management

 

First Aid Training

An important function of the Emergency Control Unit is to provide first aid training and equipment to UNSW staff and students.
