Function of the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Committee

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Committee, chaired by the Presiding Member, Associate Professor Stephen Fortescue, comprises of nominated representatives from 12 schools and 4 centres, management appointed representative and Risk Management Unit (RMU) OHS Coordinator, Adam Janssen.

OH&S Committee meets regularly to address and discuss various OH&S issues including workplace consultation, hazards identification, risk assessment, risk control or elimination and provision of OHS consultation training.
